Judge: This team is scheduled for 9/25, 9/26 and 9/27. Judges ensure athletes meet standards of movement, record athlete scores and times accurately, encourage athletes and have fun!
Equipment Team: This team is scheduled for Saturday 9/26 and Sunday 9/27 only. Changing, moving and staging equipment before and between workouts as necessary.
Setup: Set up is schedule for 9/23, 9/24. The primary task of this team is to set up the barricades, lay out the rubber mats, build out equipment and make the event competition ready.
Breakdown: This team is scheduled for Sunday, 9/27 only. This position has a 4:30pm start time and typically lasts 3-4 hours. Duties include loading event equipment and palletizing rubber flooring.
Scorecard Runner: This team is scheduled for Saturday 9/26 and Sunday 9/27. This team collects and delivers the athlete scorecards after each heat. We generally reserve this position for our youth volunteers but would like at least 1 adult to help as needed.
Venue: This team is scheduled for 9/25, 9/26 and 9/27. This team keeps our venue clean by taking out the garbage, stocking items as needed such as ice and water for the volunteers on each floor as well as staffing the athlete/volunteer check in stations.
Medical: Provides routine medical care for athletes, volunteers or spectators in accordance with the beach brawl medical plan. Also provides equipment sanitization as needed.
As a volunteer, you will have a direct impact on the success of the Beach Brawl.
We ask that you:
● Show up on time and be ready to help out
● Keep a positive attitude.
● Communicate with the Beach Brawl staff with specific needs.
● Be flexible, you may be asked to do something else as it may be needed.
● RESPECT other volunteers, Beach Brawl staff, athletes and spectators.
We want you to enjoy the Beach Brawl volunteer experience!
So have fun with it, make some new friends, encourage the athletes during competition but take your job seriously!
These athletes are here to put it all on the line. Let’s do our best to match their commitment!

Volunteer Judges will be assigned to a Head Judge. Each head judge is assigned to a specific division. As a volunteer judge, you will have the opportunity to experience ALL of the Beach Brawl workouts throughout the day.
