3,2,1 go… Athlete 1 will move from their start mat, across the floor to the ski erg and complete prescribed calories.

Once complete, they will move to the dumbbells where they will complete 25ft of double dumbbell walking lunges towards the start mat – any position is allowed for dumbbells.

Once they have completed 25ft of double dumbbell walking lunges, they will perform the prescribed number of double dumbbell thrusters, before lunging another 25ft towards the ski erg.

Once they have crossed the 25ft line, they will sprint back to the start mat, releasing athlete 2.

This will continue in the same flow for athletes 2, 3, and 4. Time will be counted when athlete 4 returns to the start mat.

*Coed team order will be Female, Female, Male, Male.

Movement Standards:

Ski Erg Calories
Setup / Starting Position
• The monitor on the ski erg must be set to zero before the athlete begins.
• Athletes may receive assistance resetting the monitor if split into multiple rounds.
Rep Standard
• Credit is earned for the calories displayed on the monitor at the time the handles are released when exiting the ski erg.
No-Rep Criteria
• Athlete leaves the ski erg before correct calories are displayed.

Double Dumbbell Walking Lunge
Setup / Starting Position
• Dumbbells may be held in any position – front rack, suit case, overhead, mixed.
• A full grip on the handle is required.
Rep Standard
• Athletes knee must contact the floor on each rep
• Rep is credited when the athlete returns to full hip and knee extension at the top
• It is not required to touch the trailing foot, as long as full extension is achieved at the top.
No-Rep Criteria
• Back knee does not touch the ground.
• Hips or knees not fully extended at the completion of the rep.
• Dumbbells lowered before completion of the rep – full hip and knee extension .

Double Dumbbell Thruster
Setup / Starting Position
• Both dumbbells are held at the shoulders in the front rack position - athletes may clean the dumbbells from the ground to initiate the first rep.
Rep Standard
• The hip crease must clearly pass below the top of the athlete's knees in the bottom position.
• The rep must be completed in one fluid motion, moving from the bottom of the squat and finishing with the dumbbells locked out overhead — a front squat followed by a separate press is not allowed.
• Rep is credited when the athlete's hips, knees, and arms are fully extended with both dumbbells locked out directly overhead.
• Both dumbbells must reach lockout at the same time.
No-Rep Criteria
• Hip crease does not clearly pass below the knees at the bottom.
• Movement is not completed in one fluid motion — squat and press separated.
• Hips, knees, or arms not fully extended at the top.
• Either dumbbell not locked out overhead at the completion of the rep.
